Dog Parks Reopen in Dallas

Starting Friday, May 22, all dog parks in the City of Dallas will reopen to the public. City officials ask that park visitors continue to wear masks and practice social distancing, and advised that foot pedals have been installed on the gates at all dog parks, reducing the need to touch the gate handles.

The City of Plano reopened its three dog parks – Bob Woodruff, Jack Carter, and Windhaven Meadows – on Thursday, May 21. Fort Worth’s ZBonz and Fort Woof Dog Parks remained closed, as are Waggin’ Tails Dog Park in Coppell and Scentral Dog Park in Rowlett. Central Bark Dog Park in Grand Prairie is scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, May 26.
