Pups on the Patio benefiting PAWS for Irving Animals
Cane Rosso (“red dog” in Italian) has long been a supporter of dog rescue groups throughout the state of Texas, so much so that we even started our own (Cane Rosso Rescue) in 2014. Pups on the Patio is a dog-friendly party on our patio, in which we host a guest dog rescue group from Texas for a night of pizza and pups, while also raising awareness and funds for the group. On Tuesday, Sept 26th, Cane Rosso Carrollton is hosting our friends at PAWS for Irving Animals Rescue! Your $10 donation to PAWS for Irving Animals gets you a glass of beer or wine, as well as a discount on some of our most popular pizzas. You know, the ones named after Jay’s family dogs. Cane Rosso will then match the ticket donations at the end of the night, so the more people you bring, the more help and support the dog rescue receives! Dog ownership is NOT REQUIRED, and anyone is welcome to come to support this great group. (But beware some groups bring dogs available for adoption.) All other pizzas will be available at the regular price. For the event, our entire patio will be reserved for Pups […]

North Texas Irish Festival
The North Texas Irish Festival is a Texas-sized cultural celebration that showcases the traditions and heritage of the Irish community in Dallas. This event is pet-friendly, as long as your dog is on-leash and well-behaved. Festival organizers ask that you make sure to pick up after your pet. From the FAQ section of the North Texas Irish Festival website: Can I bring my dog to the festival? Most certainly! In fact we encourage all our four legged friends to come out and enjoy the weekend festivities. We do ask, however, that you keep them on a short leash at all times, be wary of other dogs and small children, and do bring a supply of plastic bags to “clean up” after your pets. We also request a $1 donation to the SPCA for all pets. Unruly dogs will be asked to leave, and to take their owners with them. We are not responsibile for any incidents involving dogs – or their owners! There is also a tent designated specifically for adoptable pets, with many local rescues represented. Furry adoptable friends will be available at the Waggin’ Wagon, Prairie Paws Adoption Center’s mobile adoption trailer. For more information and to purchase […]
