Meet our newest Dog of the Week, Willow!
Willow is a 1-year-old Border Collie who is originally from Richmond, VA and now lives in Dallas with her owner, Camden. Willow enjoys chewing on treats and tennis balls, playing soccer with Daddy, cuddling with Mama, lounging in the sunshine, going to dog parks, having lots of space to run, and herding sheep for fun. She does not like baths, getting wet, when she hides her treats and forgets where she puts them, or dog food. Her favorite treats are SmartBones Calming Chews.
Camden tells us, “Little Willow was actually rescued inadvertently. Her mama was pulled from a high-kill shelter by a rescue in North Carolina. Willow’s mama was so skinny and sick that they had no idea she was pregnant! She ended up having nine puppies – 4 with short hair and long tails and 5 with fluffy fur and short tails. Willow was the ONLY white one! I was looking online one day and happened to see her picture. I applied to adopt Willow thinking that she was most likely already taken because she was so cute. I got an email response 30 minutes later that I had been approved! In the past year and a half, she has brought so much joy and love into our family. She was the missing piece that completed us. She is so loved and she’s reminded of that every single day. Again, who rescued who?”
Amen, Camden! We love those rescue stories! Congratulations to Willow for being the DallasDogLife.com Dog of the Week!
