Hi Everyone!

I'm posting on behalf of my brother and his family. Due to my two-year old nephew's horrible horrible allergies, they are having to find a new home for their dog Velvet. She's an 8 year old half-lab/half-dalmation mix who is 72lbs of absolute sweetness. She's up-to-date on her shots, her teeth are clean, she's great with kids of all ages (my two youngest nephews are currently two and three so she's with toddlers on a 24/7 basis) as well as other dogs and even cats (Bill says that when they first got her they had cats and they had to convince Velvet that she was not, in fact, a cat herself). I'd attach photos to this but unfortunately they are on my computer which is in the possession of Apple technicians for the next few days.

One more thing....Bill hasn't mentioned this to me so it's totally all my request but after telling Velvet we'd find a home for her in front of my three-year old nephew the other day and being told emphatically that she alread has a home, if you'd be willing to let the boys come visit her every so often, I think that would help the kids with the separation. I have a feeling that they're not going to understand why Velvet has to go away.
