Many of us know that sugar-free gum contains Xylitol, which is toxic for dogs. But did you know that stevia-based sweeteners like Truvia and Pure Via have Xylitol as a main ingredient too? Be extra careful when sharing your food with your pet if you use these sweeteners. Better yet, stick to natural foods and treats. Better safe than sorry!
