Hello from DallasDogLife!
I hope everyone had a chance to enjoy one of the many outdoor dog-friendly events these last few weekends. I was lucky enough to catch the end of the Pet Parade and Costume Contest at Lee Park on Easter Sunday, and believe me when I say it was hysterical. Picture this scenario: you find out that you're going to be traveling for work, and you've never left your pets overnight before. You research some boarding facilities but don't feel comfortable with your dogs being alone in a kennel all night. Finally, you find a "host family" that will take in your pet to care for them day and night, and only after you've made all the arrangements do you find out that you are not allowed to call to check on your pet - a rule put in place to "protect the family."
