[NAME],

Hello from DallasDogLife!

Happy Valentine's Day! Love is in the air, and what better way to show your dog you care than by spending time together? Dallas-Fort Worth has several dog-friendly events this weekend so put on your snow boots and get out there! And if your dog is not the social type, don't worry - you can show your dog some love by making a donation in his or her name to a local rescue.

After our big snowfall on Thursday night, I asked DDL fans to post pictures of their dogs in the snow to the DallasDogLife.com Facebook Fan Page. Check it out to see the wonderful photos and be sure to post your own!

Unfortunately, even the most careful of pet parents may need to find emergency care for their dogs. The first step is to be prepared. Find an emergency clinic close to your home and post their number in a prominent place or save it to your mobile phone. If your dog shows signs of serious injury or trauma, you can call the clinic for advice and if necessary, inform them that you are on your way with your dog so they can prepare for your arrival.
