Dee’s Doggie Den Annual Valentine Singles Mingle for Dogs and Their Humans Print
Wednesday, February 08 2012, 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm by admin Hits : 245

Valentine DogDee’s Doggie Den owner Dee Fort and her husband Evan met through their dogs, well sort of. Actually having dated in high school in Houston in the 80’s, years had past and Dee moved on to Dallas to open her Doggie Den, thee FIRST doggie daycare in Dallas! Little did she know Evan too now lived in Dallas and was seeking a place to take his 4-legged best friend for grooming! So with dog in tow, Evan went to Dee’s Doggie Den and-poof, they rekindled that High School spark and the rest is history!

Dee could tell you other success stories of Dallas friends that she connected through doggie play-dates which inspired Dee to create an annual pre-Valentine Day event; you just never know who your dog might get you acquainted with!

If you or your dog is single, join us at Dee’s Doggie Den on Wednesday, February 8th from 7:30p-9p. Let your 4-legged friends mingle in the 8,000 square foot play area while you mix and mingle enjoying champagne and chocolates and conversation with fellow dog lovers!

Dog Biscuit Photography will be snapping Valentine photos for you and your loved one whether they have 2 or 4 legs! (www.dogbiscuitphotos.com).

Your $10 donation will benefit White Rock Dog Park. Dee has a passion for the outdoor park which she was involved in launching over 10 years ago; there are several ways you can get involved with the continued care and expansion of White Rock Dog Park too!

Dogs can get sunburned too, so be sure to apply sunscreen when your dog will be out in the sun for extended periods of time. Apply sunscreen to the tips of his ears, bridge of his nose, groin area, inside of the legs and the underbelly. Be sure to use a sunscreen that does NOT contain PABA or Zinc Ozide (which is harmful to dogs if ingested) or a brand made specifically for dogs.
