 The Humane Society of Dallas County (aka Dog ‘n Kitty City) will be holding its weekly Adopt a Pet Event at Petsmart in Dallas (at Inwood and Forest) this Saturday. So, if you are looking to give one of our precious pups a forever home, or if you just want to swing by and meet our adoptable dogs, please stop by between 11am – 3pm. In addition to meeting our dogs, you can also discuss our adoption policies and procedures with our wonderful volunteer staff.

Dogs can get sunburned too, so be sure to apply sunscreen when your dog will be out in the sun for extended periods of time. Apply sunscreen to the tips of his ears, bridge of his nose, groin area, inside of the legs and the underbelly. Be sure to use a sunscreen that does NOT contain PABA or Zinc Ozide (which is harmful to dogs if ingested) or a brand made specifically for dogs. |
