GET AHEAD OF THE HOLIDAYS AND VISIT THE GREYT NORTH POLE
Proceeds Benefit the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas

Join the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas (GALT) as they set up shop for two-days only, November 22-23 at the Greyt North Pole at the Village on the Parkway. Get a head start on holiday family photos taken with Santa or bring Fido for fun photos shot by professional photographer John Hudson. Personalized holiday card packages are available and all breeds are welcome.

Visit GALT’s Greytstore for holiday and everyday gifts for your four-legged friend with everything from toys, decorative collars and dog sportswear to art, 2009 calendars and t-shirts. All proceeds benefit Greyhound Adoption League of Texas.

The Greyt North Pole will be located at 5100 Belt Line Road, Suite 752B in the Village on the Parkway, southeast corner of Belt Line and the Dallas North Tollway in Addison. ALL breeds are welcome Saturday, November 22 10:00am-4:00pm and Sunday, November 23 10:00am-4:00pm for portraits with Santa. For more information call 972-503-GALT.

GALT is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit all-volunteer group dedicated to placing all Greyhounds, primarily those that competed and trained for racing, into loving homes. GALT facilitates the adoption of Greyhounds by providing kennel services and foster homes along with their medical needs, including spay and neuter; assisting them in the transition from track-life to home-life; and educating the public about why the Greyhound has been a favored companion dog for more than 4,000 years. For more information see www.galtx.org.

Keep your dog safe during the New Year's celebrations. Always keep your pet's identification tags on, in case they are scared by fireworks and run away. Be sure that leftover drink glasses are emptied after your celebration - alcohol can be extremely dangerous to pets when ingested. Watch your pet to make sure they do not eat any party decorations like confetti, balloons, or streamers which can be harmful if swallowed.
