DOG CITY TRAINING CENTER

This is a 6-week class for owners with dogs that have had no previous training experience.  We will be starting at "square one", but will move ahead on exercises to each individual dog's level.  Adopted dogs coming in may have had previous training and may actually be able to move along at a quick pace.  We will take each dog into account on the level of difficulty.

Behaviors covered will be:  Come (Recall), Sit/stay, Down/stay, Walking nicely on a leash, Leave It, Target, Door Manners and any particular behavior that you have at home that you'd like to modify.  We will also cover "shaping".  Shaping is what we use to keep the dog's mind active and to 'offer' behavior.  Once the dog understands the 'game' of free shaping, the sky is the limit to what we can teach the dog to do.

Pre-requisite is Orientation Class

Limit in this class is 8 dogs.
