Dog Park 101: The Inside Scoop! Print
Sunday, May 30 2010, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm by UnleashedDogParks Hits : 352

Are you new to Unleashed or maybe new to dog parks in general? Are you nervous about how your dog does or will do in a social setting? We will review proper greetings, canine communication, dog park etiquette, Unleashed Park Rules and the reasons behind them, our Dog Handler's purpose in our parks, dog fight safety, and the different play styles including the difference between rough play and aggression along with the fine line in between the two. If our handlers have ever mentioned anything about your dog's play style in our parks, this class may be your solution! Only $15 per family, but you must RSVP and pre-pay!

This seminar is for humans only.

Dogs can get sunburned too, so be sure to apply sunscreen when your dog will be out in the sun for extended periods of time. Apply sunscreen to the tips of his ears, bridge of his nose, groin area, inside of the legs and the underbelly. Be sure to use a sunscreen that does NOT contain PABA or Zinc Ozide (which is harmful to dogs if ingested) or a brand made specifically for dogs.
