Unleashed Indoor Dog Parks is offering a special daycare event on July 4th to give pet owners a safe and secure place to leave their dogs while they enjoy fireworks shows and festivities.  Many dogs are afraid of the loud noise of fireworks and may get loose and lost in their panic while their humans are not home.  By taking advantage of evening daycare, pet owners will be able to make the most of the holiday while ensuring their beloved dogs are not only being well-cared for, but also having a great time enjoying off-leash play.
Reservations are required. Owners may drop off and pick-up their dogs anytime between 6pm and 1am for $20 or reserve overnight cage-free boarding at standard rates.  Full reservation details are available on the Web site at
www.unleasheddogparks.com or by calling 214-388-0701.

Unfortunately, even the most careful of pet parents may need to find emergency care for their dogs. The first step is to be prepared. Find an emergency clinic close to your home and post their number in a prominent place or save it to your mobile phone. If your dog shows signs of serious injury or trauma, you can call the clinic for advice and if necessary, inform them that you are on your way with your dog so they can prepare for your arrival.
